Apple released a new versions of QuickTime today (7.5) which plugs some serious security flaws. The worst of these flaws could let an attacker run any code they wanted on your machine, not good! You can get more details of the flaws from this Apple Knowledge Base entry. And you can get QuickTime 7.5 via software update or from the Apple website.
