Over the holidays I got an iPod Touch and so far I’ve been really enjoying it. The one thing that annoyed me was the fact that so much of the iPod Touch’s stuff relies on wifi. My bedroom is a long way away from the wifi base station.

I really wanted to be able to use the internet on my iTouch so I did some Googling and found out about Internet Sharing – a really useful thing built into every mac.

Internet Sharing allows you to use the Internet from one interface (ie Ethernet) and transmit it out another interface (ie wifi). (more…)
