I’m into day 4 using the Magic Trackpad and now my Magic Mouse just lays there not being used.
I really like it and once I got use to it I don’t think about the fact that I am using a trackpad instead of a mouse. What I really like about it over the Magic Mouse is that you don’t have to do a mechanical click to click. The trackpad also has a mechanical click, but you can also just light tap/doubletap on it to register a mouse click. This is great for rapidly reading through RSS feeds and not putting any stress at all on you hand.
I really liked the scrolling on the Magic Mouse, but the Magic Trackpad expands that and of course gives you more gestures than the mouse did.
Plus there is the aesthetic value – the Magic Trackpad with the Apple Wireless keyboard look beautiful together and are not just form over function.
Now I am just waiting for the Magic Numeric Pad.
