Paul is English and has been an IT guy for over 30 years. He has been a geek from as early as he can remember, building projects from Practical Electronics and working as a trainee electronics engineer.

His first computer was an Acorn Atom, which was sold and an Atari 400 bought, then a BBC computer followed by a Commodore Amiga. PCs in those days were too expensive and only did business apps.

Hi long career as PC guy started while working at Sinclair Research where he set-up his first LAN using 50 ohm coax, a collection of diskless workstations and a copy of Novell NetWare 2.04.

During the 80's Paul was featured in a number of computer business magazines and articles with his innovative networking solutions. Paul was also at this time the secretary of the Novell NetWare user group (UKNUG).

His first encounter with Apple products was in the early 90's while working for a company called Perot Systems where most of the people were using Mac notebook computers.

In 2007 Paul bought his first Mac.... (to be continued)
