So after much careful thought, deliberation, sleepless nights, and that’s just about who’s on this week’s IMP, I’ve gone through the great comments we’ve had on the 1Password to Rule Them All! review and giveaway and decided that the winners of the amazingly generous giveaway from the folks at Agile Web Solutions are :
In this post not only am I going to tell you all about this amazing application, I’m giving you a chance to win 1 of 2 copies, kindly donated by the amazing folks over at Agile Web Solutions.
So, you have about a dozen email accounts, a list of forums longer than your arm, your online banking, all those must have members only sites and just about every other website under the sun that in some way wants you to remember some form of authentication to get through the gates. The simple, and by far the most insecure, way of handling this would be to have a single password to all these sites, even worse it’s a dictionary password or something so obvious even a dog could guess it (yes that’s right Beiju, I do mean you!)
So, the best way to handle all those logins is to have multiple passwords, all über secure and all so hard to remember you’ll have to reset your password on said site every time you visit, well that’s where 1Password from Agile Web Solutions comes in.
RealMac Software kindly donated a license for LittleSnapper, a revolutionary screen capture app for Mac. We asked our readers to tell us why they wanted a copy for a chance to win. We had loads of entries, but after much fighting inside my brain I’ve picked our winner.
I’m proud to announce that Luke Beaumont is our winner. Luke is a Digital Media Student and he says that one of the things that he will use LittleSnapper for is showing his tutors how he develops his projects. Luke has been sent his prize, a copy of LittleSnapper (value $39).
This wraps up this great competition. Thanks to RealMac Software for sponsoring this competition. If you would like to sponsor a competition (big or small), you can tell us over on the contact page.
There are many screenshot tools for Mac; Grab, Skitch and many more. I’ve settled on a great tool from Realmac Software (Developers of RapidWeaver). LittleSnapper was part of the MacHeist bundle, a collection of apps that has been beaten to death by numerus podcasts and blogs.

As mentioned on the historic IMP Live 050, we are running another competition, proudly sponsored by Blue Pyjama. The prize that we’ve got this time is really excellent so we hope that you will enter the biggest IMP competition ever! (more…)
Thanks to everyone who entered the Whitex 2 Beta competition. The response was brilliant so we’ll be working on more competitions in the future.
Our two winners are George L and Nick B. On behalf of Blue Pyjama I would like to say that we were very happy to sponsor a competition and I hope that we can do it again soon.
