We offer you a great way to listen to the stream and participate in the chat right here on the website, but, sometimes, you want to have dedicated clients for that.
If you want to listen to the live stream in your own client, or if there is a fault with our web player, you can use the URL http://live.impodcast.com:8415/live.m3u. iTunes supports this very easily, simply go up to “Advanced” and then click on “Open Audio Stream…” and paste in our URL, and click “OK”. You’ll be streaming in no time! Of course, you can also listen live through the IMP Live iOS app, available for free via the link in the sidebar.
Since our chat is powered by Thinstack’s IRC servers, it’s easy to use a dedicated client to chat with us. Simply use irc.thinstack.net as the IRC server, and #impodcast as the channel name, join, and you’re in! If you want to tell us who you are in the chat room type /nick yourname when you sign in and your nickname will be changed accordingly.
