You may or may not have heard of this service called .Mac and as the rumours predicted it has been renamed, rebranded and slightly changed. Basically it is an upgrade to .Mac with a lot of exchange features built into it. Phil Schiller donned the hosting duties for this bit begining straight off the bat with saying it is “Exchange For The Rest Of Us”.

iPhone 2.0…..Software
His holly Steveness first said he would talk about the iPhone 2.0 Software. Now we had heard a lot about the SDK from previous events such as the iPhone software roadmap. We all know that Apple are trying to push enterprise on the iPhone and also trying to make it a better experience for developers by, well, letting them develop for the thing!

Thousands of people were gathered to ogle at the leader of the fanboys Steve Jobs as every syllable that left his and his teams lips was noted down by around 5200 attendees.
Speculation almost left this conference dry with so many rumors flying out of control and the numerous spy photos but even if apple basically confirmed it themselves before hand then there would still be speculation.
There will be more detailed posts to follow but for now this is the quick rundown of what the head hancho and Apple Inc announced today.

Call Recorder is a way to record calls from Skype, which is a popular audio and video conferencing application. Skype is made for Mac, Windows, and Linux, but Call Recorder is Mac only. After weeks of work, many discussions and loss of hair amongst the team, we’re finally ready to launch the website and blog to you!
We have a fantastic blogging and writing team as well as our podcast contributors, we’ll be starting off with a few posts and once the team get used to the system and get into the flow we’ll be hitting you with great blog content from around the world
While I’m here I’d like to say a huge thanks to the team who’ve helped get the site up and running, Lewis King for all the theme and design work, Chris Thomson, Bart Busschots and Jason Martin for coding support and Chris Leydon for his help getting us up and running with BTPodshow!

The short answer to the question posed in the title is a resounding yes. Both are very able browsers and both perform excellently when it comes to standards compliance and speed, but they are not equal when it comes to security. There are many other grounds for arguing that FireFox is a better browser, their extension architecture for example, but I will be ignoring those today and only looking at security.
