People who went to see Wall•E opening night will have noticed that when he starts up, the standard Mac OS startup sound is heard. This isn’t the only connection the movie makes with the computer company run by the former owner of Pixar. Wall•E’s “true love”, EVE, was designed by designer of the iMac, iPod, and iPhone, Jonathan Ives. More info over at TUAW.
With Apple’s WWDC08 event fast approaching we gathered our panel which this week consists of Chris Wall, Stu Helm, Bart Busschots and Lewis King along with great contribution from Jason Martin, Jordan Drake and Michael King.
We talk about what we expect to see form the new iPhone, the hype about Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (?) and manage to squeeze in something about movies being available in the UK and Canadian iTunes Stores
We hope you enjoy this week’s episode, apologies about the lower audio quality on the rest of the team, we’re still working out the best way for us all to dial into TalkShoe!
