Well it seems as though the Orange Country Sheriff’s Department has switched to the digital age and is now using podcasting to train its deputies. They are using this feature to train their personnel on high risk situations that could cause injury and have a high risk of injury. They are using Apple’s Podcast Producer, which is a part of OS X Leopard server, to deliver content to the outer limits of their coverage area for training. (more…)

I’m here to do a review of one of my favorite and most relied-on apps during my daily podcasting workflow. This application is Call Recorder from eCamm Software. Call Recorder is a way to record calls from Skype, which is a popular audio and video conferencing application. Skype is made for Mac, Windows, and Linux, but Call Recorder is Mac only.
